Job Description

  • In this role, you will manage the full scope of services involved in the planning and management of WDD projects in India.
  • You will be directly responsible for financial analysis/administration and design/construction supervision of our new and/or expanding campuses and other offices across India as required.
  • The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for design excellence in delivering ground-up and mixed-use projects, from Technical Due Diligence through to handover, as you lead a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop optimal relationships with external consultants and vendors through rigorous RFP processes, showing excellent commercial focus and knowledge of challenges in the local supply chains.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in the Indian construction industry including conceptualising, project planning, design development, and project management of corporate design/construction.

Experience

  • Experience in leading multicultural teams.
  • Experience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous space, and translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives.
  • Ability to bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions, and consult strategic change and initiatives.
