Job Profile Description
- Responsible for achieving the goals of the SOC program through the implementation of processes, procedures, and performance indicators related to security.
- Maintain the group email address and distribution lists and update all relevant documentation such as shift logs and tickets.
- Responsible for the design and updating of all SOC processes and for developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures across the organization.
- Design and updating of staffing patterns, training, and scheduling of SOC.
- Responsible for continuous evaluation and remedial action in respect of security platforms and security incidents.
- To authorize any changes to the security platforms under management to the extent permitted under the change management procedures; in other cases, responsible for making the final recommendations in respect of all changes initiated by the SOC.
Required Skill Sets
- Must have the ability to defend the network. Tasks include monitoring, discovering, and analyzing possible threats.
- Must know how to detect threats and report vulnerabilities and ensures the organization remains protected from attacks. Should know how to perform perpetration testing for systems, web applications, and networks to find vulnerabilities.
- Must be able to manage several effects of breaches in a manner that reduces the impact of breaches.
- Malware reverse engineering, experience identifying and developing responses to new threats and attack patterns.
- Be familiar with using data visualization tools (e.g., Maltego) and penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Netsparker, Aircrack, Wireshark, etc).
- Explores ways to identify stealthy threats that may have found their way inside your network, without your detection, using the latest threat intelligence.
- Must be familiar with collecting, analyzing, and reporting security data.
- Must be able to read and understand the operation and performance parameters of software programs, and at a higher level of skill, should be able to reverse-engineer malware. Accepting and logging user calls related to the IT Infrastructure, applications, and network connectivity.
Salary
Approx Rs. 1,00,000/- pm, salary offer will be commensurate to qualification & relevant experience.
Qualification and Experience
- 3- 7 years experience.
- First Class (60 % or 6.75 CGPA) BE/B. Tech with any Specialization OR;
- First Class (60 % or 6.75 CGPA)- MCA OR;
- First Class (60 % or 6.75 CGPA) Post Graduate degree in Science / Computer Application.
