Job Profile Description
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams for Server and storage infrastructure design and architecture
- Test and deploy systems.
- Improve existing infrastructure.
- Documentation throughout the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, change control, and maintenance.
- Serve as an expert on Server, storage and provide technical support.
- Meeting with the client to determine requirements of servers and storage.
- Analyzing system requirements.
- Developing technical specifications.
- Reviewing configurations.
- Providing support to colleagues’ support team.
- Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications on servers and allocating required storage.
- Solution designing as per client requirement considering cost budget.
- Drafting operating procedures.
- Training to colleague staff.
Required Skill Sets
- Server Roles: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server.
- Server OS: Extensive experience in Windows 2012 Server Active Directory Management, Group Policy Management, File Server Management, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and WDS.
- Virtualization platform: Installation, Configuration, and Administration.
- Server Hardware: HP/Dell/IBM/Lenovo any other industry standard and make.
- Storage & Backup: Netapp/HP/Dell/IBM any other industry standard and make.
- Tape Library: Quantum /HP/Dell any other industry standard and make.
- Backup Tool: Backup & Recovery solution.
- EMS tools: Knowledge NMS, EMS tools, the configuration of devices and parameters in tool and monitoring, Helpdesk ticketing tool.
- Endpoint Security: Security Antivirus for Servers & endpoint devices.
- Experience in patching, Installing, configuring, and management of Server and SAN, NAS storage devices Management of virtual machines including the creation of Snapshot, Clone, and Template of VM.
- Experience with Vmotion for Virtual Machine and Storage Migration, Server Patching Vcenter Update Manager.
- Experience with server hardware and its configuration like Blade Chassis Server, Rack Server, (Installation and Configuration of Blade Server including Blades profile creation and assigning the profile to designated Blades, Configuration of Rack Servers), Configuration of Server ILO, IDRAC, Onboard Administrator for perform the management task.
- Hands-On Experience in updating the firmware of Chassis VC, OA, and ILO.
- Perform firmware and driver updates on the Server.
- Manage tasks, events, and alarms Health status of virtual and rack Servers.
- Troubleshooting virtual machine issues, and data store issues.
- Creating RAID groups, and binding LUNs.
- Responsible for server deployments, and patching, which include application installations, operating system updates, and security patches.
- Experience in Windows administration for Windows 2008, 2012, and above Health checking of the servers, Network Monitoring, Performance monitoring, free Disk space, Memory, etc. by using NMS/OBM EMS Tool.
- Manage and administer Windows server roles – Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, File Server, Print Server, and IIS Server.
- Involvement in the patching of Windows machines.
- Implement and Manage Windows Failover Clustering and Dbase cluster for SQL Server 2016.
- Configure and Manage Servers Backup via Windows Backup Utility/Veeam backup Tool, configure backup for SQL Dbase, and implement maintenance plan.
- Implement Group Policy via AD as per project requirements.
- Implement and Management of Antivirus solution.
- Administration and Support on SAN, and NAS storage.
- Implement Zoning on the SAN Switch and Provision the LUN from the Storage.
- Creation SVM, Initiator group for mapping storage to the server, Expand the LUN/Volume.
- Knowledge of Snap Mirror, and Snap-Vault.
- Skilled in incident management tools for the Incident, Service Desk.
- Part of the company program related to Service Level Agreement (SLA), Privileges, Roles, Auditing, Profiling, and Authentication.
- An effective communicator with strong analytical, negotiation & team management skills
- Hands-on experience in Storage & Blade Servers configuration.
- Experience on Cisco networking devices for connectivity configuration, and implement zoning as per configuration requirements.
- Virtualization and Hypervisor technology.
- Manage archival via Tape Library & File System creation.

Salary
Approx Rs. 1,00,000/- pm, salary offer will be commensurate to qualification & relevant experience.
Qualification and Experience
- 3- 7 years experience.
- First Class ( 60 % or 6.75 CGPA) BE/B. Tech with any Specialization OR;
- First Class ( 60 % or 6.75 CGPA) MCA OR;
- First Class ( 60 % or 6.75 CGPA) Post Graduate degree in Science / Computer Application.
