Nominations are invited for Young Achiever Award 2023 at NIT Trichy. The last date for nominations is 14 July.
About NIT Trichy
The Institute derives its strength from the achievements of its Alumni. Alumni have a definite role in the growth of an Institution. NIT Tiruchirappalli (REC Tiruchirappalli) having the glorious history of providing technical education in the country has a large number of Alumni who have excelled in their chosen fields in India and abroad.
The Institute has a tradition of honoring her outstanding Alumni by presenting them with the Distinguished Alumni Awards for Academic, Research, Managerial Contribution, Entrepreneurship, Public Administration, Social Service etc.
Eligibility
NIT Tiruchirappalli also tries to recognize and encourage younger alumni by awarding them with the “Young Achiever Award” instituted for any alumni of REC-T/NIT-T who is under the age of 40 as on 31.03.2023.
Who can nominate?
Nominations for the YAA can be made by alumni, faculty (retired / in-service) of REC-T/NIT-T, Head or an appropriate person of the organization where the alumna has been working or any other person of eminence. The YAA award would broadly cover the following categories:
- Excellence in Academic / Research / Innovation / Invention
- Excellence in Corporate / Industry
- Excellence in Public Administration
- Excellence in Entrepreneurial venture
- Excellence in Service to the Society at large including sports, journalism etc
A committee constituting persons of eminence shall evaluate the nominations.
Self-nominations may please be avoided.
How to Nominate?
Nominations are invited as per prescribed format through email. The nominators are requested to kindly provide all relevant information/ details, and enclose all relevant documents (list given in the checklist).
Email subject should be “YA AWARD – 2023”.
Deadline
Last date for nominations for the Distinguished Alumnus Award 2023 is Friday, July 14, 2023.
