Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure 2024 (SURE 2024) Internships at IIT Hyderabad. Last date of application is March 10.
- Eligibility:
- Should be a first year MSc (Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Biology) OR MA first Year OR the 2nd/3rd Year B.Tech./ B.Des.(All branches) OR the 3rd/4th Year Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech. program.
- Applicants should be among the top 20% based on CGPA/% score in all the previous years in his/her discipline in the College/ Institution/University and to be certified by the Head of the Institute/ Principal at the time of the application.
- Duration: 1-2 months between May and July (Tentative 15.05.2024 to 14.07.2024).
- How to Apply: Applications must be submitted through the web portal only.
- Selection Process:
- The selection procedure consists of a preliminary screening of applications followed by an interview (online mode) department/mentor faculty wise at the option of the concerned Department.
- Selection may depend upon consistently brilliant academic performance (Relative rank I the class/ University), work carried out by the student besides his regular academic work, participation/ recognition in competitions such as Olympiads, National Talent Search Exams, and performance in the interview.
- Stipend: Rs. 15,000 per intern altogether for 2 months.
INST Mohali Internship 2024 [May-July]
INST (Institute of Nano Science and Technology) offers several internship programs for students. These include a Summer internship running from May to July, short-term internships from July to December or January to June, and long-term internships spanning July to June or January to December.
- Eligibility: Students pursuing M.Sc., M.Tech., or M. Pharm with a background in Basic Sciences, Applied Sciences, or Engineering degree are eligible to apply. Applications for less than two months will not be accepted.
- Application: To apply, students can follow the guidelines provided in the provided link. Candidates must forward a cover letter and CV to internship@inst.ac.in before the deadline. Also, all the relevant certificates providing age, educational qualification, experience (if any) and reservation category should be attached.

Summer Internship Programme 2024 at NIT Rourkela
NIT Rourkela has launched a Summer Internship Programme with an objective to encourage ambitious bright students of different Institutes in India other than NIT Rourkela to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of NIT Rourkela faculties.
- Eligibility:
- He/she should have all grade sheets till the previous semesters (Example, if he/she appears for 6th semester examination in April/May 2024, up to 5th semester result should be available at the time of online application).
- Any B.E./B. Tech student with a good academic record, who has appeared at least 4th semester examination.
- No. of Interns: The selected summer fellow will register at NIT Rourkela for whom there will be no institute registration fees. The Institute is pleased to provide 50 nos. of Summer Fellowships.
- Application: Interested and eligible students need to complete the online application on or before Mar 28, 2024 (Thursday) by clicking this link.
- Selection: Selection will be based on merit (CGPA), understanding of the topic (from the write up) and fulfilling of technical pre-requisites. Higher semester student may be given priority. - Duration: The internship duration is between May 16 to Jul 15, 2024. Biometric attendance on working days is compulsory. Extra leave is not applicable.

- Candidates applying for Summer Internship have to be Indian nationals.
