Job Description
Milliman India Actuarial Internship Program
This position assumes full time employment as an ‘Actuarial Intern’. You will be engaged in:
- Data analysis using Excel, Access, and SAS
- Reserving
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Learning to develop and use actuarial models including Milliman proprietary tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree student (or recent graduate) pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or any another major with quantitative course work,
- Minimum 5 CT series exams (excluding CT9) or equivalent Core Principles subjects (CB1-2, CM1-2, CS1-2)
Experience and Preferred Skills
- Superior math aptitude and quantitative ability
- Outstanding academic record
- Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power point etc.) and computer programming (e.g. SAS/SQL//R/Python)
- Previous actuarial or related internship experience a plus but not required
