About Group
This AI and Cybersecurity intern position is in the Info-Sec internal engineering team. The intern will integrate AI capabilities into our in-house applications, focusing on leveraging our data lake backend.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with a team to develop a web UI that allows queries of a data lake
- Work with Amazon AI toolchain to develop a chatbot to submit queries based on natural language input
- Implement role-based authentication in the app and the chatbot.
Requirements
- Interest in AI and Cybersecurity
- A self-driven personality who can work with a moderate level of supervision and direction
- Enthusiastic and quick learner with good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, planning, and organizational skills
Preferred Skill Sets
- A good understanding of AI principles, machine learning algorithms, and database / datalake concepts.
- Comfortable with programming languages commonly used in AI and data science, such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data lakes and Amazon AI toolchain.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, operating systems (Windows / Linux), and computing devices.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following – JSON, XML, HTML, SQL.
