Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining DevOps tools and processes to support continuous integration and continuous Cloud deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency of Cloud Applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the Cloud applications, services and systems.
- Assist in managing cloud-based infrastructure and services using platforms such as AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to developing scripts and automation tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices and tools.
- Work closely with the Developers, and SDETs team members and contribute as part of the given Sprint cycles..
- Create and Maintain comprehensive internal documents, and accurate bug report descriptions.
- Help to recreate and troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/ post-implementation.
- Leverage the automation framework for automating feature tests and propose changes or enhancements to the framework to enable the feature validations.
- Joint ownership and accountability for the product quality and release.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform is an additional plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in DevOps practices using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Cybersecurity experience in the form of certificate programs and/or as electives during academics is an added advantage.
