Internship Details
- Backend Development:
- Assist in developing server-side logic and building robust APIs.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Node.js.
- Database Management:
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL) to manage data storage and retrieval.
- Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data handling.
- System Integration:
- Integrate front-end elements developed by the team into backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to design and implement efficient APIs.
- Debugging and Testing:
- Identify and troubleshoot backend bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Provide input on technical feasibility and backend system design.
- Learning and Development:
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, Node.js).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL) and basic query optimization techniques.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
