About BITS
The Summer Research Program is being organised by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus (BITS Goa). BITS is renowned as an Institute of Eminence in Technology and Sciences and conducts pioneering research in various fields such as Engineering, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.
About the Event
BITS Goa Summer Research Program (BGSRP), scheduled for the summer of 2024, provides a thriving platform for young academic talents, scholars, and researchers to engage with Scientists and Engineers on campus. The objective is to allow the interns to benefit from exposure to the Research Institute’s functionality and its established ability to translate theory into practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
The participants will work on a specific project with a faculty member of the Institute. The duration of the BGSRP will be 60 days.
Eligibility
- The candidate should be a citizen of India
- The candidate should be pursuing UG / PG from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad)
- The candidate should possess a minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10 at all levels

Important Dates:
- Open for receiving BGSRP applications – 4th week of January of the Academic Year(AY)
- The last date of receiving the applications from the candidates – 3rd week of February of the AY
- Uploading the list of selected candidates on the BGSRP website – 2nd Week of March of the AY
- Reporting of the selected candidates to the BITS Goa campus – 1st week of June of the AY
