Job Description: Co-Op Intern at AMD

  • Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time40Hrs per week, either in a hybrid or onsite or remote work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of ASIC deisgn & verification flows
  • Need basics of verilog/VHDL, C programming skills 
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Individual contributor & team player
  • Exposure of performance & architectural methodologies is added plus

Responsibilities

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills required.
  • Strong Communication Skills required.
  • Objected Oriented Programming experience of some kind required.
  • Experience with script design and functional programming
  • Must be proficient in Python and at least one other language
          - Experience with C/C++, Java, C#, Bash, PowerShell preferred
  • Experience implementing functionality above readily available libraries, as well as implementing existing libraries.
  • Experience building/training models and implementing solutions using PyTorch, Tensorflow, and TorchRL
          - Knowledge of Large Language models, Multimodal models, and general computer vision techniques a plus.
  • Experience with Database interactions (SQL, etc.), Windows and Linux (Debian, RHEL) troubleshooting, as well as QA and CI workflows would be an asset.
  • Ability to execute complete solutions (from proof of concept to readily deployable code) based on problem statements and minimal guidance, following core Computer Science principles.

Academics

Master’s in engineering final year students in Computer science or relavent domian in a reputed universities
