Job Description: College Internship at HP
- They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MBA intern to join their team in a product management role.
- This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and launch innovative hardware and software products for India market.
- This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Assist in defining and refining product requirements by conducting user research, analyzing market trends, and identifying user pain points
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product vision, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including roadmaps, feature specifications, and detailed use case scenarios, with a focus on software product design
- Support the creation of metric frameworks to evaluate product success and user engagement post-launch
- Conduct usability testing on prototypes or design mock-ups to gather user insights and validate product concepts.
- Participate in brainstorming and strategic workshops to identify and evaluate new product opportunities, enhancements, and potential feature sets
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark potential features, usability, and positioning within the market landscape
- Create and deliver insightful presentations for stakeholders, focusing on proposed strategies, frameworks, and progress updates to guide decision-making
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in building and scaling mobile apps, with additional exposure to hardware companies or hardware-software integrated products
- Proficiency in research methodologies and tools to assess market dynamics and opportunities
- Thrives in studying and analysing complex data, drawing data-driven insights and decisions, and transforming it into simple user experiences
- Comfortable exploring technical concepts and collaborating with engineering teams to understand the feasibility of product requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management & organizational skills
