Job Description
Bijak is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team.
- As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for creating insightful and visually appealing dashboards using advanced SQL queries in Metabase.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization while contributing to meaningful projects within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Metabase to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by implementing appropriate validation techniques.
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability through efficient query design and data visualization techniques.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and assumptions to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging data analysis and visualization technologies.
Candidates Attributes
- Pursuing a degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
