About the Internship
The company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Data Analyst Trainee to join its team on a full-time, remote basis in India. The Data Analyst Trainee will collaborate with a talented team of professionals to support data-driven decision-making across various business functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and preparing data from diverse sources for analysis.
- Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track and visualize key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of ad-hoc reports and visual representations of data for stakeholders.
- Support data integration efforts while ensuring datasets are accurate and reliable.
- Aid in streamlining data collection and reporting processes through automation to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in data analysis and data science, applying them to ongoing tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Basic understanding of SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
