Job Description
The intern will be working on software applications for the entire Test & Measurement portfolio of products. The main focus would be to develop test applications for new products in R&D as well as maintaining/supporting existing products in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop test applications for new products in R&D
- Maintain/Support existing products in the market
- Work closely with hardware engineers to understand the product under test
- Develop user interfaces for the application to enable users to configure the instrument and interpret results
- Develop algorithms for the application to perform calculations and data analysis
- Develop scripts for automating various tasks
- Troubleshoot issues reported by customers or found during internal testing
- Improve performance and memory usage of applications
- Port applications to different operating systems like Windows, Linux, macOS
Qualifications
- Candidates pursuing B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with specialization in Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Good programming skills in C#, Python, Java, C++, or any other object-oriented language.
- Experience with JavaScript and Testing.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Batch scripting, etc.
- Knowledge of databases like SQL Server, Oracle.
- Experience with developing Windows applications.
- Good communication skills; should be able to communicate effectively with users and other stakeholders.
- Should be a quick learner and self-motivated.
- Previous experience with test equipment or electronics measurement instruments is desirable but not essential.
