About the Internship
The “IDRBT Summer Internship Programme” (ISIP) offers internship opportunities for students, who have completed at least two years of Graduation or are pursuing Post-Graduation in highly reputed Institutions, to carry out various projects in the area of Technology.
Additionally, there is a valuable opportunity for high-performing interns: they may be considered for an assessment internship of six months. Further, top-performing assessment interns may receive a placement offer, based on the internal guidelines of the institute.
Eligibility
Students pursuing a) Post-graduate courses in the field of Technology / Management b) Four Year Graduation Programs in the field of Engineering from recognised and reputed Institutions / Colleges located in India. Students who are currently in the penultimate year of their course can only apply for the summer placement.
Duration
Normally the period of Internship will be for a maximum of three months during the period from April to July based on the requirement of University.

How to Apply?
An updated Resume, a scanned copy of filled and duly signed “Letter of Recommendation / No-Objection Certificate” (take printout of certificate available in online application form) and a professional photograph of the candidate has to be sent to isip@idrbt.ac.in by keeping subject – “Application to IDRBT Summer Internship Programme”
The internship can be commenced from the month of April to July,2025 based on the requirement of University.
Stipend
Summer trainees are eligible to receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,500/- per month. Outstation trainees will be required to make accommodation arrangements on their own.

Eligible students should apply for summer internship through the links provided in the end of the document from 15th January to 15th April, 2025.
Selection Process
IDRBT will be selecting a maximum of 10 candidates from the submitted resumes. Online interviews will be conducted on the last Friday of February, March, and April for the shortlisted candidates. The names of the shortlisted students will be communicated via email or phone call, along with further details regarding the interview process.
