About the Program
The Indian Space Association (ISpA) is launching a unique Internship Program aimed at fostering talent and nurturing the next generation of innovators in the space sector. This program is designed to provide an immersive experience in space science, engineering, and technology through a structured approach. This program, spanning a minimum of three months, combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience to prepare participants for impactful careers in the space sector.
- Minimum Duration: 3 – 6 months.
- Mode of Participation: Onsite/ participants working directly at ISpA.
- Please note that this will be an unpaid Internship Program.
- Suitable candidates will be offered employment at ISpA on completion of Internship.
While the program is unpaid, it offers unparalleled exposure to the space industry, the opportunity to work on real-world challenges, and a stepping stone to future opportunities in the sector.
Eligibility
This program is open to:
- Graduates with a keen interest in space technology and research.
- Individuals eager to contribute to the space domain through innovation and dedication.
- Candidates from Delhi NCR Preferred.
Available Positions
Research & Development–
Contribute to the development of the space ecosystem in India through a multi disciplinary research in space policy, law, space technology and satellite services including Satcom and Earth observation. Analyse global and national frameworks and work with industry leaders to support ecosystem development.
Graphic Designer & Web Development-
Collaborate with the Social Media team to conduct user research, design prototypes, and develop webinterfaces for websites, apps, and digital platforms. Ideal for candidates with a flair for visual design and a strong grasp of latest web development tools. Applicants should have a strong sense of design, creativity, and a user-first approach.
Content Writing & Social Media –
Create social media as well as web engine specific content through creative writing and SEO Management.
Certification
All participants will receive a certificate from the Indian Space Association, recognising their contribution and successful completion of the program.
