Internship Description
Harman is hiring for a role focused on testing infotainment and cluster systems, ensuring high-quality software and system performance as per client requirements. The role involves continuous validation of system software using various testing techniques, collaborating with clients for vehicle testing, and supporting the development team in identifying and resolving defects early in the project. Candidates are expected to follow the project’s release plan, adapt quickly to changes, and contribute to delivering defect-free software.
Responsibilities
- Manual Validation (Bench & Vehicle level) of Infotainment and Instrument Cluster.
- Finding, Logging and Maintaining defects on system level through Exploratory and Regression Testing.
- Complete Ownership of Test Case Engineering, Maintenance of existing Test Suites and Adding Exploratory Test Cases to Test Suite after every release.
- Detailed analysis of reported problems, Bug analysis, Bug verification and tracking. Perform reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
- Independently handle both Vehicle testing and manual testing request.
- Supporting vehicle drive tests and long drive tests on regular basis with Customer.
- Execute Automated test cases in Automation environments.
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of electronics and SW development life cycle.
- Basic knowledge of Manual Testing and Test Techniques.
- Good knowledge of software and Hardware architecture.
- Good knowledge of Python script development
- Has ability to quickly ramp up on the entire system testing perspective.
- Good English Skills (writing, documenting, conversation).
- Willing to travel different locations from base location to attend/support issues on priority.
- Basic knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network) and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocols.
Additional Skill Requirements
- Knowledge on Testing Quality standards (Automotive Spice)
- ISTQB certification (Basic or Advanced)
- Exposure to Test Automation with anyone scripting language
Additional Information
- Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech
- Duration: 9 months ( after that possible 3 months extension)
- Expected joining date: As soon as possible.
- Stipend policy: For those who have completed the UG course (BE) and will be working full-time. (All other colleges)
