About IIT Delhi
The School of International Biodesign (SIB), a prestigious DBT program in collaboration with AIIMS New Delhi and IIT Delhi, are hiring a Medical Electronics Development Intern to join their dynamic team developing affordable, impactful healthcare technologies in Radiology-Oncology.
This is a hands-on, on-site internship at the exciting intersection of sensing, signal processing, and medical device prototyping — perfect for builders, makers, and experimenters who want to create real clinical impact.

Responsibilites
- Dive into optical, acoustic, EM, or bioelectric sensing to characterize biological tissue
- Build early-stage sensor systems & data acquisition pipelines
- Analyze real-time signals using tools like Python or MATLAB
- Prototype with microcontrollers, DAQs, and imaging systems at the Biodesign facility
Qualification
- Students or recent grads (B.Tech/M.Tech/MS) in:
- Biomedical, ECE, Instrumentation, Applied Physics, or Mechatronics
- Strong in hardware prototyping, sensor integration, and signal analysis
- Bonus if you’ve built things, joined hackathons, or worked on cross-domain experiments
