Job Description
As a Research and Development Intern specialising in Generative AI at Exly, you will play a key role in developing a groundbreaking project that utilises artificial intelligence to automate the generation of creatives, different types of communication builders, recommendation systems, and much more for entrepreneurs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a hands-on project that combines AI technology with marketing and communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Research and Analysis: Research new or existing AI models and tools for content generation, including natural language processing (NLP) and generative adversarial networks (GANs). Analyse their capabilities, limitations, and potential applications for our project.
- Project Development: Collaborate with our development team to design and build a prototype AI system for generating creatives, emails, and content. Contribute ideas, develop algorithms, and assist in implementing AI models.
- Data Collection and Preprocessing: Gather and preprocess data sets for training and testing the AI models. Curate diverse datasets of text, images, and other media to ensure the robustness and effectiveness of the content generation system.
- Model Training and Evaluation: Train and fine-tune AI models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. Evaluate model performance, iterate on algorithms, and optimise parameters to improve the quality and relevance of generated content.
- User Interface Design: Collaborate with our design team to develop a user-friendly interface for entrepreneurs to interact with the AI content generation system. Incorporate feedback from users to enhance usability and functionality.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of the AI system to ensure its accuracy, scalability, and reliability. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or inconsistencies in the generated content.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document the development process, methodologies, and results in clear and concise reports. Prepare presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI tools and libraries for text and image processing (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, OpenCV).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
