Job Summary

The selected intern would have an opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies alongside World Class Researchers. Tasks would include doing exploratory work and literature survey in emerging technologies in ,Wind Turbine, Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine, Carbon Capture and Energy Systems

Job Description

The role requires individuals to acquire the necessary tools and processes to carry out advanced modeling and simulation tasks.
They will be responsible for validating these models using published external results or data from in-house tests.
Candidates are expected to deliver on assigned project tasks with minimal guidance, ensuring results are thoroughly documented.
The role also involves conducting literature surveys and analyzing the current landscape of technologies, particularly in the areas of Aero-Thermal-Mechanical-Material-Inspection.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, embodying a “ONE TEAM” mentality.
The candidate should demonstrate initiative, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks, as well as a curiosity and appreciation for the interdisciplinary nature of technologies in product development and the broader context of the project.

Desired Skill Sets

Ability to automate the processes for improved productivity
Hands-on working on Python or Matlab
Experience of using High Performance Computing for advanced and complex analysis.
Awareness of relevant Industry Standards and Regulations.

Qualifications

Students in their final year of under-graduate graduate programs (Masters/Ph.D) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Physics are eligible to apply. Students with sound understanding of fundamental concepts of core subjects of their discipline and passion for Research, with a Grade Point Average of > 7.0 on 10 point scale are eligible to apply.
