Job Description
Wadhwani Institute invites applications from 3rd Year and to-be-soon graduating undergraduate (BTech/BE/BS) and Master’s students (MTech/ME/MS) for their AI for All Research Internship Program. Candidates who are passionate about building solutions for real-world problems of societal importance using the latest advances in AI are strongly encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough literature review on prior work done for a given problem statement.
- Work towards developing an appropriate algorithm in solving the problem as well as building a deployable product and/or making it publication worthy.
- Document the code in a suitable manner by adhering to appropriate guidelines.
- Should be able to communicate his/her research findings in a clean and compact manner.
Pre-Requisites
- Python Programming experience, hands-on experience with some of the Data Science toolkits like Numpy, etc. and preferably at least one Deep Learning Framework among Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
- Should have completed coursework in Probability, Linear Algebra, and Calculus and preferably has some exposure to Machine Learning.
- Highly preferred to have demonstrated experience of working in the field via an internship or project.
- Do provide links to some of your open-source projects.
- Prior exposure to Linux is expected before joining the internship.
