Applications are invited for Short Term Internship Programs at IIIT Allahabad Under CRG (DST) Project for the year 2023. The last date of application is 20 June.
There are internship opportunities for 01-02 students at IIIT-Allahabad for 01-02 months (during period June-August, 2023) in a research project titled “Spin induced properties of p-block elements-based Vander Waals heterostructures for prospective spintronics applications: An ab-initio approach” in reference to the File No. CRG/2022/008117 dated: 19/01/2023 by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi.
Eligibility
- Student must be enrolled into any of the regular courses UG/PG/PhD in the Electronics/ Nanotechnology/ Materials Science/ Condensed Matter Physics and related areas.
- Candidates having prior knowledge of DFT codes/programming knowledge (Python/ C/C++) will get preference.

- Access to Computational Nano-Materials Research Lab (CNMRL) of IIIT-Allahabad.

Selection Process
- Maximum 2-page CV of the student (with all details starting from High School)
- Consent from the competent authority of the department.
- PI of the project may select one/two most relevant students fulfilling the project requirements.
- Selection will be based on the personal interview cum interaction. (Online/offline mode).
