Job Description
GE Aerospace is seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong background in statistical and analytical methods for the role of Analytics Intern. In this position, the intern will collaborate with engineers to explore and develop innovative methodologies aimed at enhancing engine fleet performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Algorithm Development: Designing and implementing algorithms to process Aerospace domain data for recommendation systems.
- Experimental Design & Evaluation: Conducting experiments, performing thorough evaluations, and documenting findings.
- Data Challenges & Integration: Addressing unique challenges such as data quality, domain-specific vocabulary, and integrating solutions into safety-critical and regulated workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively presenting insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
This role provides an opportunity to work on complex aerospace-related data challenges while contributing to the development of advanced analytical solutions within a highly regulated industry.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in full-time Master’s or Bachelor’s program in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering field with exposure to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, AI or Statistics.
- Proficient in implementing algorithms, data pipelines and solutions in Python.
- Self-starter, ability to work in ambiguous environments, and excellent communication skills.
Desired Skill Sets
- Experience of working with problems and data from industrial domains (Aviation, Energy, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.).
