Job Description: Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities
- In this opportunity as an Software Engineering Intern, you:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications or systems.
- Help in the analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues to maintain high performance and availability of our products.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software engineering.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical processes and software functionalities.
- Engage in continuous learning and training to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Provide support in the optimization of workflows and processes within the engineering department.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on project status and milestones.
- 6 month period integrate into a scrum team.
Qualifications
- You’re a fit for the role of an Software Engineering Intern if your background includes:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited engineering program (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field).
- Demonstrated understanding of software development and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenging tasks.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) of 7 or more in a 10-point scale
- Previous internship or project experience in a technical field.
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., GitHub, Python, Junit, Mockito, Agile/Scrum).
- Knowledge of databases, APIs, and web services.
- Exposure to AI/ ML technologies
