Internship Description
Carrier is looking for a motivated and skilled Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Python and React to join their dynamic team. The role involves building and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend).
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Required Skill Sets
- Backend: Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Frontend: Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
Good to Have
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
