About the Opportunity

A student ambassador position is available at the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. They are looking for individuals who are driven, and creative to spread awareness of their brand and products. The role involves planning and organising events on campus, and using social media outlets to promote the MathWorks’ presence at university career fairs and other recruiting events.

Roles & Responsibilities

The position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week. They are expected to host events on campus demonstrating MathWorks’ products, use their social media skills to promote MathWorks’ products and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skill Sets

Candidates should preferably have proficiency in MATLAB, and familiarity with Simulink. Strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogging, etc.) is a must.

Eligibility

The candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s level degree and must be in good academic standing with at least 2 semesters remaining in their degree program.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong time management skills.

This is a paid position in the Education Marketing department.
