The Indian Institute of Science is a public, deemed, research university for higher education and research in science, engineering, design, and management. Summer Internship Program 2024 Details

  • Note: This is an unpaid internship.
  • Background Required: Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

Drive the design and development of a comprehensive sensor system utilizing strain gauge and piezoelectric technologies. Responsibilities include circuit design, PCB design, embedded coding, packaging, testing, conducting experiments, and performing data analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in hands-on research projects
  • Attend workshops and seminars
  • Contribute to research publications

Required Skill Sets

  • Strong academic background in science or engineering
  • Proficiency in Analog Electronics
  • Expertise in embedded systems, specifically with microcontrollers
  • Proficiency in PCB designing
  • Strong command of at least one programming language
  • Good communication skills
  • Analog Circuit Design
  • Analog Circuits
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design
  • Additional Skills:
    • Experience in 3D design (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD)
    • Previous engagement in hobby projects
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently

Eligibility

Students actively enrolled in a degree program (UG final year) are eligible to apply. Students who are graduating before May are not eligible.

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program (UG) and in final year.
