About NIT Warangal

National Institute of Technology, Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country.

About CTL

The Teaching-Learning Centre (TLC) is being established at NIT Warangal with grants from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the scheme, ‘Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching’ (PMMMNMTT).

Under this scheme a separate building for TLC with the state- of-art training facilities which include a studio for video recording of lectures is going to come up. Many senior and young faculty members across various departments of the Institute are associated with this center as members of the Core-Team.

About the Internship

Summer Internship Program on “AIoT and Its Applications” Batch-1 starts from 20 May 2024  |  Organized by CENTER FOR TRAINING AND LEARNING, in collaboration with BOEING in Residential (offline) mode. 

Eligibility

All UG, PG students and Research Scholars are invited to attend for Summer Internship Program In and outside NIT Warangal.

The program will cover the following topics: 

  • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Vision, Image Processing
  • Machine Learning with Python
  • Internet of Things, Industrial IoT, AIoT
  • Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
  • Case studies on recent advances
  • Hands-on sessions & Live projects

Selection Process

Selection will be done based on first-come-first-serve to a maximum number of 100 (One Hundred). Additionally, 10 participants from industry are allowed to participate. The selected participants will be intimated through e-mail. Candidates will be issued certificates on successful completion of the course.
