About IRMA

The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a premier, national level Institute for Postgraduate, Doctoral and Mid-career/in-service education, research, and consulting in rural management. Founded in 1979, IRMA’s mission is to promote all-around sustainable Rural Development through professional management.

The institute has a campus wide IT infrastructure supporting a number of Web, Mail, DNS, Database, Network servers and administers 1000-odd hosts in the network. Institute provides on-line services for functional management through centralized database management system, internet & web services for the faculty, staff and students.

Role Description

The candidate should have experience in developing and /or managing applications on an APEX platform with Oracle RDBMS as a backend database.
The candidate should be well versed with software engineering processes, process documentation, and user requirements reflecting project management principles.
Experience in web-based tools like Php, Java, ASP and HTML, exposure to mobile and WAP-based application development, business analytics and machine learning environment will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

The ideal candidate should be an MCA/BE or B.Tech (Computer Science)/ M.Tech (Software Engineering) / MSc. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University/ Institution. The applicant must have a good command of written and spoken English. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test and personal interview. Minimum of zero to a maximum of two years of post-qualification experience in software development.

Age: The maximum age limit is 30 years (as of 1/4/2023).

Nature of Appointment

This traineeship is for two years which includes three months’ probation. Based on the performance during the probation period, the contract will be further extended for twenty-one months (a total of two years). After the confirmation, a minimum of one year of service is mandatory.
