About the Indian Foreign Policy Project (IFPP)

The Indian Foreign Policy Project is a cross-university student-led effort to engage young Indian voices in international relations and politics and expand foreign policy discourse across academic spaces. Every month, IFPP publishes comprehensive articles about contemporary events in International Politics. Our research scope extends to South Asian geopolitics, European and Western Affairs, Global South politics, Climate and Energy Politics as well as Human Rights!

In one line, we at IFPP hope to bring IR to every young Indian and beyond!

What is our Summer Virtual Internship Programme?

IFPP The Research & Publications Team opens periodic internships for undergraduate students and exceptional high schoolers to write and research with IFPP. IR is a young field in India, and this internship program is one of very few across the country that offers high schoolers an opportunity to dive deep into whatever subfield of IR they find most fascinating!

Virtual Internship Programme by India Foreign Policy Project

This Internship Programme (Summer) is remote/virtual, meaning any high schooler across the country with a device can apply! For 2 months, you will get to learn to analyze, write, and research geopolitics, human rights, climate action, and the like.

Eligibility

All passionate high schoolers and undergraduates in related fields can apply. While preferences will be given to Indians, all nationalities are eligible.

Remote/Virtual; No Restriction

Registration/Application Procedure

Send us a writing sample demonstrating your nonfiction/research writing abilities along with your CV.
We know that CV-making can be confusing, so don’t worry—just send us a list of related accomplishments, education, and work experience.
We encourage you to include your passion for the role and your research areas in your email.
Select few applicants will be called for an Interview round if required.
