About IIM Calcutta
The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry. During its initial years, several prominent faculty formed part of its nucleus, including Jagdish Sheth, J. K. Sengupta, among others.
Over the years, IIMC has grown into a mature institution with global reputation, imparting high quality management education. It has been playing a pioneering role in professionalising Indian management through its Post Graduate and Doctoral level programs, Executive Training Programs, Research and Consulting Activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility: Post Graduation or equivalent in Management, Social Sciences (preference would be given to Psychology, Sociology), Economics, Finance, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. Candidates pursuing Doctoral Programs/Ph.D. can also apply. Candidate should have minimum 60% marks throughout.
Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as on date of application.

The cut off dates for reviewing the applications shall be on 15th of every month until the vacancy gets filled. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by the HR Department from time to time.
Salary
A consolidated stipend of Rs. 34,000/- per month will be paid. Stipend will be revised annually based on performance as per Institute rules.
Duration
The duration of engagement will be made initially for one year which could be extended annually by up to two more years on the basis of performance and requirement of the Institute.
