Job Description
AI Software Application Engineer, Customer Solution Engineering, India As AI reshapes not only computing but also business and society, Intel is making major bets on the future of AI, particularly in data centre computing. Intel’s Datacenter and AI Solutions (DAIS) organization is a critical part of Intel’s boarder AI efforts. DAIS’s responsibility spans data centre workloads from generative AI and deep learning to analytics, HPC, and graphics – all of which are intertwined in the future of computing.
DAIS Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) organization to drive our customer technical engagement. CSE drives design-in, onboarding and architecting solutions for their key care about from silicon to systems. We engage with OxM and CSPs, and their customers, to build deep technical knowledge of their AI infrastructure and help drive customer success. CSE is seeking an AI engineer in the DAIS Customer Solution Engineering Team in India. AI engineer will help support India and APJ customers
Responsibilities
- Enable/optimize proxy/private model per customer request.
- Benchmark data for customer evaluation with specified configuration.
- Support data scientists from customers for model convergence.
- Help customer to reach good scale efficiency in their network topology.
- Enable customers to smoothly transition from trained model to deployment.
- Integrate Synapse SW stack into the customer’s deployment framework.
- Design and implement customized kernel per customer request.
- On-site support, debugging and training
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ hands-on coding experience in C/C++/Python
- 3+ coding/debugging in a Linux environment
- 3+ years of AI Software development experience
- Hands-on experience with AI Frameworks (PyTorch, or others)
- Faster Learner Preferred Qualifications
- Software development with excellent analytical, development, and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of AI Machine/Deep Learning fundamentals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and one must be able to work well independently as well as with others in a fast-paced highly technical environment
