Job Description: Associate Engineer Trainee

  • Experience in Creating/Revising and Reviewing Technical Publications documents (CMMs, AMMs and ACMM). 
  • Hands on experience in Authoring Tools (Framemaker, Arbortext Editor and Corena, UltraCSDB and UltraXML) and Illustration Tools (IsoDraw, Corel Technical Suite).
  • Liaise with the product design team and Manufacturing team to ensure that the maintenance and repair requirements are completely understood and are written in the manuals. 
  • Develops methods and procedures to ensure Technical Publications Documents are in conformance with ATA iSpec2200/S1000D and Simplified English ASD-STE 100 Standards. 
  • Familiar in writing Repair procedures, Assembly/Disassembly procedures for Mechanical Components is must.
  • Responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of standards/procedures and meet the customer requirements.

Education & Skills

  • BE/Btech in Mechanical or Aeronautical with 4 to 7 years’ Experience in creation/revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), CMPs, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) etc. for Aircraft Components and Systems
  • 1 to 4 Years of working experience in Technical Publication.
  • Strong knowledge of Aerospace Technical Publication Standards – ATA 100, iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
  • Experience in Creation/Revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and other documents for Aircraft Components and Systems. Preferably Aircraft Interiors Products.
  • Experience in writing Assembly, Disassembly & Repair procedures.
  • Experience with Authoring Tools like Adobe Framemaker, Arbortext Editor, Corena & MS Office.
  • Experience in Authoring the Technical Publication documents per Simplified Technical English ASD-STE 100.
  • Exposure to illustration tools such as Isodraw, Tech Illustrator.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (Service Bulletin, Service Newsletter, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP etc.)
  • Develop Standard Work/Work Instructions to create/revise Technical Publications Documents are in conformance with ATA/S1000D standards.
