About HCR Lab
The research conducted at the Human-Centered Robotics (HCR) Lab applies principles of human motor and movement adaptation to create innovative human-centred robotic technologies aimed at enhancing the quality of human life. The primary focus is on integrating these insights into the design and control of robots, facilitating desired physical human-robot interactions. The HCR Lab is composed of researchers with expertise in engineering and cognitive science and places a strong emphasis on human studies to assess the effectiveness of the proposed paradigms.
Project Details
Trainee Position in the HCR Lab at IIT Gandhinagar – DBT Project
Job Description
Applications are invited for one Trainee position for a DBT project.
- The work is focused on the design and control of wearable robotics setup for human motion analysis.
- The work requires, Programming and data acquisition using C++/Python micro-controller.
- Experience in PCB designing.
- Experience in using 3-d printing, and working with electrical and electronic components.
Eligibility
- Diploma (03 years duration) after 12th in Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Engineering / Bio-medical Engineering or allied fields with at least 65% marks in the aggregate (or equivalent C.G.P.A. in the qualifying degree).
- The candidate should have a good academic record throughout and the percentage/grade
- points to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade in 10th and 12th.
Stipend
Trainee: Rs. 18000/- per month
Duration
10 months
