If so, Apple’s Global Business Intelligence (GBI) team is seeking a Software Engineer to work on building and scaling best-in-class data and reporting apps presenting metrics & performance indicators with the least latency and outstanding user experience. Job Description

- You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Collaborate with multiple multi-functional teams across the globe (US, Singapore and Europe) and work on solutions which have a larger impact on Apple’s business.
- You will interact with many other group’s internal teams to lead and deliver best-in-class products in an exciting constantly evolving environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in application development with an in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good expertise with ReactJS, or other Javascript frameworks like AngularJS, Vue JS etc.
- Experience working with NodeJS, Redux, Typescript, Webpack, NPM etc.
- Experience in developing rich user interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience Collaborating with UX designers to prototype the user experience during the design phase.
- Good Experience developing restful service layer components using Java or Python.
- Strong understanding of working with databases like Oracle/Snowflake/SinglesStore/Teradata & NoSQL databases like Cassandra, and Redis.
- Experience building data models to support low-latency reporting apps.
- Experience with testing browser-based applications, good knowledge of problems and solutions for cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience developing Unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle with experience with GIT or other version control technologies.
- Experience working on virtualisation techniques Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Exposure to cloud methodologies and experience with AWS is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving solving, critical thinking with a solid ability to evaluate and apply new technologies in a short time.
