About the Position
Applications in the prescribed formats are invited from highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following DST- Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) scheme, Govt. of India sponsored research project:
Project Title
Computational Techniques based investigation for Diabetic foot ulcers complications (CISMR)
Project Duration
Initially for one (01) year or position is coterminous with the project. Total project duration is 3 years.
The position is purely on contract basis with the initial appointment for a period of one (01) year which can be extended up to the completion of the project, purely based on the satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
Eligibility
First division/class in B.Tech and M.Tech or M.E degree in relevant discipline ( Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering etc.) and with a GATE/NET Qualified. The candidate having expertise in Signal processing (time series) and Image processing and good working knowledge of Matlab and Python programming will be preferred.
Work/Project development experience in the area of Signal processing, Image Processing, Machine Learning is desirable. Candidate should have strong background in programming skill in Python/ MatLab/ C.

Salary
As per the present terms and conditions of the DST-SERB (CRG) project. Rs. 31,000/- (for the first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000/- pm (for the 3rd year) plus HRA.
