Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow at IIT Kanpur in the project titled “Jal Jeevan Misson (JJM) Professor chair” funded by the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM).

Eligibility
Minimum Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. etc.) in Electronics and Communication/Electrical/ Computer Science/Information Technology) (or relevant degree from reputed International/national institutions with valid GATE score. Candidates with Post-Graduate Degree can also apply.
Essential Skillset:
- Hands-on experience in working with sensors and IoT boards
- Strong knowledge of Internet of Things and networking
- Some Familiarity with Machine learning, Deep learning, website and app development
- Should qualify GATE.
Responsibilities
- Work with IoT sensors, deploy the sensors on the testbed and collect data
- Process data using ML algorithms
- Develop website and smartphone app for data communication across cities and visualization

Duration

Salary

- Interview of selected candidates will be carried out online.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the attending the interview.
- Applicants who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria and desirable work experience will not be called for the interview.
