About the Job
We are looking for a skilled NetSuite Backend Technician to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot our NetSuite ERP system’s technical operations. This role focuses on backend system support, customizations, integrations, and ensuring smooth system performance to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot NetSuite backend operations including scripts, workflows, integrations, and saved searches.
- Develop and maintain SuiteScripts (1.0/2.0) for automation and custom functionality.
- Support CSV imports, mass updates, and bulk data management tasks.
- Collaborate with functional teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage NetSuite customization projects, ensuring minimal system disruption.
- Integrate NetSuite with third-party platforms using SuiteTalk (Web Services) and REST APIs.
- Maintain documentation for technical processes, scripts, and integrations.
- Identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Stay current on NetSuite releases and recommend adoption of new features.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Developer, Technical Administrator, or ERP Technician.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, record structures, and backend operations.
- Proficient in SuiteScript (1.0/2.0), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics.
- Experience with system integrations using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or middleware tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi).
- Skilled in managing CSV imports, saved searches, and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of workflows, user roles, permissions, and access management.
- Good communication and project management skills.
Preferred
- NetSuite Certification (Administrator, ERP Consultant, or Developer)
- Experience with other ERP systems or integrations
- Background in database management (e.g., SQL)
