About IIT Gandhinagar
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar is a public technical university in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The government of India has declared it an Institute of National Importance. Established in 2008, the IIT Gandhinagar campus is spread over 400 acres along the river Sabarmati.
IIT Gandhinagar is one of the eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) announced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2008. The institute began operating on a temporary campus at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, where it was mentored by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The first batch of students was admitted to three programmes: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
- Mathematics: He/she should be passionate about recreational mathematics, i.e. logical puzzles, board games, computational thinking, and designing artful math exhibits/models.
- The candidate should enjoy the beauty of mathematics and must be very keen to explore the literature/work related to (recreational) mathematics.
- Experience in documenting math activities through videos and manuals is also desirable.
- The role would also include creating a curriculum which integrates activities, stories, and questions with the curriculum.
- Science: He/she should be passionate about doing hands-on experimentation, questioning and refining the experiments, and be able to research, critique, and document content from journals and other sources.
- Experience documenting Science activities through videos and manuals and facilitating sessions is also desirable.
- The role would also include creating a curriculum which integrates activities, stories, and questions with the curriculum.
- The candidate must be comfortable in building lab setups, mechanical/electronics models and conducting science lab experiments.
- Candidates with experience in documenting STEM content will be given preference.
Qualifications
- The candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Candidates selected for the post will be responsible for researching, developing, documenting, and facilitating STEM content.
- Candidates who don’t meet the above qualifications should not apply.

- The application submission deadline is 27/04/2024 at 5 PM (IST). Selection will be based on interviews, and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed one week in advance.
