About RRB Recruitment 2024
Indian Railways is a statutory body under the ownership of the Ministry of Railways of the Government of India that operates India’s national railway system. Indian Railways runs various classes of express, passenger and suburban trains. In 2018-19, it operated 13,523 trains on average daily covering 7,325 stations and carried 8.44 billion passengers. Indian Railways also operates different classes of rail freight transport.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Applications complete in all respects must be submitted ONLINE ONLY.

Qualification Criteria
- Candidates should ensure that they possess/fulfil all eligibility conditions prescribed for the RRB Recruitment post(s) as on the closing date for Submission of Application, CANDIDATES WAITING FOR RESULTS OF PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION SHOULD NOT APPLY.
- Physical Measurement (PMT) Standards and Medical Standards: Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed PMT and Medical Standards for the post(s) for which they are applying, as detailed in the CENs published on the official RRB websites. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the applied post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
- Reservation and suitability for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): These posts have not been identified as suitable for persons with disabilities.
- Reservation for Ex Servicemen (ExSM): For further information, refer to the detailed CENs to be published on the official websites of RRBs.
- Reservation for Women: 15% of posts are reserved for women. For further information, refer to the detailed CENs to be published on the official websites of RRBs.

- A candidate for RRB Recruitment must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a citizen of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 01.01.1962 to permanently settle in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
- Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
How to Apply?
- Candidates must first ‘Create an account’ for this CEN through the link given in the official RRB websites below. They must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID for receiving OTPs for account creation. No change in details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including mobile number and email ID) will be permitted later.
- Candidates are allowed to choose only one RRB and submit only one ONLINE Application for the notified post through the official RRB websites.
- No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Fee can be paid by the candidates through ONLINE mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.
