Project Title
CSE Department Alumni Fund (M102443N) [PI: Prof. Prem Kumar Kalra]
Responsibilities
- Managing the onboarding and off-boarding process of systems and people.
- Managing software updates and app deployment on Departmental computing resources.
- Maintenance of storage servers, ticketing service, and heartbeats.
- Experimenting with enhancing existing systems for robustness, availability, and troubleshooting.
Duration
Upto. 30th November 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- M. Tech. 1st class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline OR B Tech. / M Sc. ‘lst Class or equivalent with three years experience in network and system administration is preferred.
- Provision exists for applying to the CSE MTech part-time program at llTD, and admitted candidates will be supported in pursuit of their degree.
Desirable Qualification:
- Certification (preferred): CCNA and/or Network+.
- Demonstrated experience working with backup storage systems (NetApps preferred).
- Experience with SQL databases, web servers, and/or Cisco routers and switches preferred.
- Familiarity with container services such as Docker, and FaaS is desirable.
- Familiarity with services such as Git and VM managers is desirable.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl) is required.
- Experience with managing Linux server OS is required.
- Experience with the management of LDAP, DNS, and Kerberos is preferred.
- Firewall implementation and troubleshooting are desirable.
Salary
Rs 45,000-48,200-51,400-55,400 – 59,400-63,400/- p m plus HRA @ 24%.
