V.O.Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA), invites applications for recruitment of two posts by direct recruitment. | Fire cum Assistant Safety Officer | 01 | (i) Graduate ship examination of Institute of Fire Engineers (London) or should have passed B.Sc., with Chemistry as one of the main subjects or B.E., (Fire), recognised by AICTE(All India Committee for Technical Education), Nagpur University. (ii) Should have undergone Divisional Fire Officers’ Course at National Fire Service College, Nagpur; or Advance Diploma Course at National Fire Service College, Nagpur. (iii) Possession of Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence; (iv) Should have served not less than 5 years in a Fire Service Organisation in an Industrial town in a rank not below Station Officer. (v) Medical Standard: Height: 168 Cms. Weight: 50 Kgs. Chest Measurement: Normal – 81 Cms. Exp. 86 Cms. Vision: Normal in both eyes, colour vision is essential and wearing of glasses is not permissible except to employees over the age of 40 years. (vi) Knowledge of swimming. |

Age
- Class I:-
- Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 30 years
- Class II:-
- Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: Between 30 and 45
- Candidate must have been born not earlier 01.12.1993 and not later 30.11.2005 (both days inclusive) for Class I.
- Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.12.1978 and not later than 30.11.2005 (both days inclusive) for Class II posts.

Salary

| Class I:- | Basic pay of Rs.50,000 /- in the scale of Rs.50000-160000 (under revision) and other admissible allowances as applicable. | Rs.87, 000/- per month plus HRA as admissible (if not residing in VOC Port quarters). |
| Class II:- | Basic pay of Rs.40,000 /- in the scale of Rs.40000-140000 and other admissible allowances as applicable. | Rs.70000/- per month plus HRA as admissible (if not residing in VOC Port quarters). |

- SC/ ST/PwD candidates /VOCPA and other Major Port Authority Employees Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges Only) + GST @18%
- All candidates other than SC/ ST/PwD /VOCPA and other Major Port Authority Employees Rs. 475/- (Application fee including intimation charges) +GST@18%
Deadline
