Applications are invited for the PhD Scholarship 2025 in Data Science at Munich School for Data Science. Apply by May 6.
About MUDS
The Munich School for Data Science MUDS, the Technical University and the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich as well as the Helmholtz Zentrum München (HMGU) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) have joined forces with the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) to form an internationally visible and highly attractive research network. MUDS also cooperates with the Leibniz Computing Centre (LRZ) and works with Roche Penzberg, Boehringer Ingelheim, Munich Leukemia Lab (MLL), and other industry partners to promote application-oriented doctoral projects in biomedicine.
About the Scholarship
The Munich School for Data Science (MUDS) has open PhD positions for students with a background in computer science, data science or similar, or one of the domain sciences life science, medicine and health, earth observation and robotics with a very strong focus in computer science, data science or similar, or interdisciplinary study programs combining both (e.g. geoinformatics, bioinformatics).
This full-time PhD program will begin as soon as possible and run for three years, conducted entirely in English. MUDS brings together some of Germany’s most prestigious institutions—Helmholtz Munich, HIRI, DLR, LMU, TUM, and Leibniz Supercomputing Center—alongside an expanding network of industry partners to train the next generation of data science pioneers.
