About Formula Bharat
“Formula Bharat” is an annual student design competition in India, where engineering students from various colleges and universities design, build, and race formula-style race cars. The competition aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their technical skills and creativity and foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the automotive sector.
The Formula Bharat Organization organizes the competition and features various events, such as static events (such as design and cost presentations) and dynamic events (such as acceleration, skid pad, autocross, and endurance).
The ultimate goal of the competition is to promote excellence in engineering education and to provide a bridge between industry and academia.
Driverless Vehicle Workshop Purpose
The Formula Bharat Driverless Vehicle Workshop provides participants with the opportunity to connect with experts, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals on their insights, research findings, and best practices related to driverless vehicles. This technical software-focused workshop which will be held online from September until November 2023, is equipped with multiple tools, training and evaluations to help participants plan, design and eventually build an autonomous vehicle to participate in Formula Student events in the future.

- Radar Antenna design and integration
- Advanced Simulations to assist Development of Autonomous Vehicles
- Robot Operating System (ROS) for Autonomous Driving
- Sensor Fusion in Autonomous Driving
- Mapping and Localization
- Mini Project to demonstrate the SLAM à used for the evaluation and more!
