About NIT Warangal

The college’s partnerships with industry and the establishment of an AICTE IDEA Lab offer students valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for innovation. Recently, the college has been granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and its affiliating university, MAKAUT.

About Electronics & ICT Academy – Phase II

The “Electronics & ICT Academy – Phase II” was established at NIT Warangal with financial support from MeitY, GoI. The academy focuses on offering Faculty Development Programmes in both standardized courses and emerging areas of Electronics and Information Communication Technologies. It also provides training and consultancy services for industries, curriculum development, Continuing Education Programmes (CEP) for working professionals, and support for technical incubation and entrepreneurial initiatives.

FDP Details

This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) focuses on enhancing knowledge of problem-solving techniques using the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies. Conducted online, it is a joint initiative between the E&ICT Academy at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, West Bengal. The programme features insights from academicians and industry experts, including those from IITs.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be made based on a first-come-first-serve basis to a maximum number of 40 (forty). The list of selected participants will be intimated through e-mail. The DD/online payment will be returned if a candidate is not selected. Candidates will be issued satisfactory certificates (both Hard and Soft copy) on successful completion of the course.

Program Details

The program will be conducted by faculty members from NIT Warangal and the Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College; academicians in the concerned field from IITs/NITs/IIITs/abroad are invited to deliver lectures. Speakers from industries are also expected to provide as part of the course.
