BETA is a comprehensive self-clearing securities processing solution designed specifically for wealth management firms. Drawing on years of expert knowledge and practical experience, BETA provides essential back-office controls such as corporate action management, middle-office exception management, and front-office tools for account management and trading, all aimed at supporting advisors in their daily operations.
Currently, BETA is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Trainee to join their team. This entry-level position offers recent graduates the opportunity to gain valuable experience in corporate best practices and principles. The role provides hands-on learning in coding, quality delivery, and exposure to technologies such as AWS, Angular TypeScript, Node.js, CI/CD, and DevOps.
About Team
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Development, you will be part of the development/DevOps team, assisting developers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations and tasks for developers.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and professional skills that’s required to step in corporate world.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and assignments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
- Always follow security and safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide support to Developers and DevOps.
Required Skill Sets
- AWS: Practical experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Angular TypeScript: Hands-on training in building dynamic web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Node.js: Real-world server-side programming with Node.js.
- SDLC: Practical understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle in an enterprise environment.
- CI/CD: Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices.
- devOps: Applying DevOps principles and practices to streamline development and operations.
