About CoE EA
Centre of Excellence on Efficiency Augmentation is set up by STPI in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, supported by HPEIPL at Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The CoE is the first of its kind in India which is an immersion of innovation, creativity and new business development for augmentation of the efficiency in all the business verticals, service sector & also in Government operations/projects leveraging emerging Industry 4.0 technologies.
The best-in-class infrastructural facility located at Jayanagar the heart of Bengaluru City has the following:
- Innovation and Development Lab equipped with the latest tools/equipment to support startups to build products/solutions in the identified domains.
- Incubation facility of 16,000 Sq ft (100+ Plug n-Play incubation seats)

Objective
To Support StartUps that would build products and solutions to increase the efficiency of industrial production and operations, service sector and Government projects, leveraging emerging technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
The CoE-EA invites proposals/applications from Indian Startups/companies who are working in Emerging Industry 4.0 Technologies and would like to use CoE-EA Innovation and Development Lab Equipment. The StartUps must be incorporated as a
- Private Limited Company (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) or
- Registered Partnership Firm (Regd. under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932) or
- Limited Liability Partnership (under the Liability Partnership Act 2008)

Selection Process
CoE-EA Selection Process would be organized in three (3) phases.
- Phase 1: Applications from start-ups are invited through an online contest portal
- Phase 2: Shortlisting of Ideas, POCs and Solutions having strong potential through initial scrutiny
- Phase 3: Selection of start-ups for this program through pitch-in session.
