About Robocap League 2023
Unleash your creativity in the realm of space with the ‘Space Exploration and Colonization’ competition, celebrating Chandrayaan 3’s success, where students build innovative robotics projects from scratch and showcase their skills at IIT Bombay.
Structure of Robocap League 2023
- Stage 1: Students have to take the online RCAT (RoboCap Assessment Test) and get the Green Robocap certificate.
- Stage 2: Teams that qualify for the RCAT will be selected for the national finals at IIT Bombay during Techfest 2023-24. Here they will be presenting their final projects to the judges in offline mode.
Timeline of Robocap League 2023
- Round 1: Last date to earn Green RoboCap & meet eligibility: November 30, 2023.
- Round 2: Finale will be held at Techfest 2023-24 during December 27-29, 2023 (exact date and time of the competition will be conveyed to the finalists).
How to Register?
Follow these steps for registration: Go to the website > Competitions > Robocap League > Explore More > Register > Fill all your details > You will be registered and now you must either Create a team/Join a team.
Rules
- Every team has to register online on the official Techfest website for the competition.
- A Team ID will be allocated to the team on registration which shall be used for future references.
- The decision of the organizers or judges shall be treated as final and binding on all.
- No responsibility will be held by Techfest, IIT Bombay for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
- Note that at any point of time the latest information will be that which is on the website; however, registered participants will be informed through mail about any changes.
- All modes of official communication will be through the Techfest e-mail, participants are advised to keep track of all folders in their e-mail accounts.

How to Make Your Own Team?
Follow this process: Go to the website > (hover on) Competitions > Competitions > Robocap League > Explore > Register > Fill all your details > Team > Create a team > Use the Registered Mail ID of other participants to add them to your team. They must be already registered before adding them to your team.
What is the Registration Email ID?
The Gmail ID which was used to Sign In is the Registered Mail ID. It is a unique identity of any participant. It will be used in adding team members in a team, joining a pre-existing team etc.
