About the Internship Programme
The internship is designed to provide students with exposure to the functioning of the CAG’s office and hands-on experience in data management, audit analytics, and related areas. Selected interns will get the chance to work under the guidance of senior officers and professionals in real-time government audit and data analytics projects.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be an undergraduate, postgraduate, or research student from a recognized/reputed institution.
- Be pursuing or have completed a B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in any discipline.
- Be 25 years of age or below as on 31st March 2025.
- Have proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or R preferred).
- Be skilled in data analytics/visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, IDEA, KNIME, ORANGE, or SQL-like query languages.
- Have a background in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or economics with an interest in data analysis.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Shortlisting of applications based on academic record, CV, and a well-crafted Statement of Purpose (SOP).
- Personal interview for shortlisted candidates assessing:
- Data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical knowledge.
- Soft skills and communication.
Terms and Conditions
- This internship does not imply employment with the CAG of India.
- Interns will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- CDMA reserves the right to terminate the internship without prior notice.
- No TA/DA, accommodation, or additional benefits are provided.
- Income tax will be deducted as per norms; a TDS certificate will be issued.
- Interns must submit a report/paper to the Director, CDMA, at the end of their internship.
